Melton U Hire Acquisition Builds Kennards Hire Network

Continuing its network growth in Victoria, Australian family-owned and operated equipment hire company, Kennards Hire, has extended its operations in Victoria with the acquisition of Melton U Hire. This latest addition brings the state’s network to 41 branches, reinforcing its commitment to serving the hire needs of communities across Victoria.

The 2,460 sqm revamped site is home to hundreds of quality products to make any job easy. From earthmoving, access and site equipment for large construction projects through to scaffold, ladders and floor care for those DIY or home renovations, the branch is geared up to support big jobs to even bigger ones.

Area Manager, Alex Hoffman, shared his enthusiasm for the new Melton Branch, noting the importance of extending our reach to new communities.

Kennards Hire continues its family ethos, welcoming Corey Lanigan, previously of Melton U Hire, as Assistant Branch Manager, bringing a wealth of hire industry experience along with a familiar, local face to the new branch.

Joining Corey is experienced Kennards Hire Branch Manager, Andrew Lloyd, along with Anthony Kokonis, Jackson Greig and Hudson Shaw (Service Person Driver’s) making up a team known for its expert customer service.

As part of the company’s commitment to lifting up communities in the areas in which it operates, Kennards Hire is proudly continuing the sponsorship of Melton Broncos Rugby League Club, a partnership previously held by Melton U Hire. 

Selected pieces of Melton U Hire equipment and memorabilia will be sent to Sydney and housed in the Kennards Hire Museum.
