Kennards Hire Unveils New WA Branch With Bertola Hire Acquisition

Australian family-owned and operated equipment hire company, Kennards Hire, is expanding its market in Western Australia with the acquisition of Bertola Hire in Albany, bringing its state network footprint to 23 branches.

The new branch represents Kennards Hire’s entrance in the most southern part of Western Australia and will be servicing the Albany region which boasts diverse industries, encompassing forestry, freight (port), mining, tourism, and agriculture.

Western Australia General Manager, Dave Schurman, said, “Albany is a thriving region and we’re looking forward to investing and supporting growth and infrastructure improvements with our extensive equipment offering and great service.”

Supported by Regional Manager, Aaron Meadows, the Albany Branch team will be led by experienced Branch Manager, Timonthy Hensby who is joined by Kevin Thomas as Service Person Driver and Paul Oldham as Hire Controller, both of whom were working for Bertola Hire before the acquisition.

The new branch is equipped with a full range of general hire equipment along with earthmoving and access equipment such as excavators, compact scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

Selected pieces of Bertola Hire equipment and memorabilia will be sent to Sydney and housed in the Kennards Hire Museum.
