Kennards Hire pops up in Heatherbrae

Family-owned and operated equipment hire company, Kennards Hire, is increasing its presence in the greater Newcastle region with the opening of a new Pop-Up Branch in Heatherbrae - a first for the business in Australia.

The Pop-Up Branch concept demonstrates Kennards Hire’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, with the new Heatherbrae Branch being entirely purpose-built from 20ft shipping containers. The custom designed containers are designed to be self-contained, transportable and easy to commission. The portable modules include a service bay, fully equipped plant room, equipment storage, a modular wash bay, customer area and shade igloo.

It’s the second branch of its kind to be fully operational in the network. The first is located in Hornby, New Zealand.

Strategically located on the Pacific Highway route between Sydney and Brisbane, one of Australia’s busiest thoroughfares, Heatherbrae forms a significant link in the Kennards Hire network, its opening being the fourth in the Greater Newcastle and Lower Hunter Valley areas. All four general branches are now advantageously placed to assist the local specialist branches – Rail and Pump & Power – and their customers, with the same reliability and convenience that customers know they’ll get from the well-trusted brand.

As with all Kennards Hire branches, it offers an extensive range of equipment suited to support the local government depots, as well as trade professionals and weekend DIYers. The location is a convenient option for trade professionals undertaking projects in highly dynamic Newcastle, as well as supporting the numerous infrastructure projects in the area.

From its origins in Bathurst in 1948, Heatherbrae is Kennards Hire’s 53rd branch in New South Wales and the 180th branch across the entire network.
